Destacamos aqui o melhor do rock no ano que passou. Muita coisa boa de grandes artistas, como: Scowl, Metallica, As Everything Unfolds, Slothrust, QOTSA, Covet, Sir Chloe, RVG , Yes e Måneskin, entre outros
Como aconteceu em anos anteriores, 2023 brindou com excelentes trilhas sonoras para quem ama rock e heavy metal. Também como de hábito, a grande (decadente) mídia ignorou por completo o que aconteceu no universo do bom e velho rock and roll e suas vertentes. As TVs e rádios tupiniquins inundarem o País com funks horrorosos, pagodes pra lá de ruins, uma pá de hip hop de quinta categoria e músicas sertanejas que dão até vontade de vomita. Ainda bem que temos a internet.
Apesar disso, rolou muita música boa ao redor do nosso planeta azul, especialmente indie rock e heavy metal (que vive seu auge), para “variar”, mas também alt rock e punk rock (uma grata surpresa, principalmente por se tratar de um estilo umbilicalmente ligado ao movimento punk, que já não é sombra do que foi). De modo semelhante, também o rock progressivo continua pujante, seja com veteranos (Yes, Jethro Tull, Steve Hackett etc), seja com bandas mais novas, como (Crown Lands, Riverside, The Dark Side of the Moon, Hackberry e Sky Passage, entre outras).
